Adrien cried again for this love that had died stillborn. He cried for Giulio, and he cried for Val; he cried until his eyes were red, and his throat hurt. Outside of their control, everything had to end. And now, it was happening again. When he thought about Giulio, his only respite from despair was in the fact that they had shared some time together, that they had known each other's love. At least, he could cherish the memory as one of his greatest treasures; one that came with so much pain - but a treasure nonetheless.
