Adrien dressed himself, then rushed to the main room downstairs. He found Val sitting on his armchair and reading a book, as he liked to do.
"Good morning", he smiled. "You look refreshed. And is that perfume I smell?".
"It's the Clarifying Shampoo, actually", Adrien chuckled, seating himself at the opposite side of the table. "I ran out of the regular shampoo...".
"Ah, we're due for a trip to Falderdeen, yes", Val nodded. "What would you like for breakfast?".
"Bread and apricot jam, thank you", Adrien replied, and Val magically set the table; Adrien covered his first slice of bread with a generous amount of jam. "Anyway, as a shampoo, it worked well, so that's nice... better than expected, actually. As a potion, I don't really feel any different...".
Val chuckled. "Wasn't that the bottle graded as --".
"-- insignificant, yes", Adrien laughed. "One of my proudest mistakes".
"I would hardly call it that, given that it was your first attempt and the weather was against you", Val furrowed one eyebrow in a playful scowl.
Adrien laughed lightly. "Yeah, well... still, reading the label was kind of embarrassing...".
