When Adrien could breathe again, he had only one word left in his throat: "Val", he whispered. "Val, my -- my --". He sat up, and Val embraced him. In silence, each listened to the other's being.

The Gifts of Darkness - Chapter 25 - Page 24

This is pretty much why I added the splash page, to avoid blasting an unwitting visitor with not one but TWO sex scenes in this same chapter. For all the witting visitors: :D you're welcome!

...However hold on, the chapter is not over, there's one more scene for next update :) which is also one of my favorite parts of the comic. This is the part of the story where we're getting satisfaction from all that angst.
