Adrien took his place in the middle of the room, made sure his hands were properly set on the staff, and closed his eyes to concentrate. The sunlight was bright and warm; he breathed in and let this warmth seep into his senses and express itself through his spell - readily and effortlessly.
"Well done", Val commented, leaning against the windowsill. "Very well done. You always do well with Fire magic...".
Adrien smiled, and practiced his spell again. A plume of heat enveloped him as he spun his spell. He couldn't deny it: this task suited him well.
